At RTI Upstream, safety is more than a track record. It’s a promise. Operating from a higher purpose means that the work we do in the field every day and the way we deliver work as a team has a lasting significance. This belief — that all work matters — is what motivates us individually and collectively to strive for excellence.

For us, safety is at our core and part of our attitude, just as important off the job as on the job. All levels of leadership and supervision are accountable for safety performance. Every Artisan (employee) is committed to an attitude of safety and following through with the responsibilities that come with it. Our team is obligated to refuse unsafe work and raise any concerns that arise in the workplace through observation and elimination practices.

Our philosophy is centered on two core beliefs:

1. Our work is never so urgent that we can’t take the time to do it safely.

2. All accidents and injuries are preventable.
